    Description

    There was some surface corrosion on steel base. I used scotch bright and WD-40 white lithium spray on it. I have used this product for many years. Does work well as rust preventative and lube. I use it on all my steel tools.
    It takes 4 full turns to fully engage magnet. Works better than the 1/2 turn engagement/ release used on other mag bases.
    All of the 1/4-20 mount holes in aluminum top accept screws well.
