    Description

RHG Electronics Laboratory MP8T91 Microwave Amplifier
For sale- an RHG Electronics Laboratory MP8T91.
    Whatever that is.
As you can see I have three available to start with, price is for ONE.
I was unable to find anything about these online and I really have no idea what they are or do.
But I have been doing this long enough to recognize the little fittings on them as being microwave related.
The surplus sticker (which theoretically indicated they should be functional) called them an amplifier, so I will call them a microwave amplifier without having any way to verify that.
So if that is a bit of misinformation you have my apologies.
Untested, sold as is, and NO warranty is offered.
However, IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it.
Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases.
Accepted Best Offers are strictly an as is sale, no returns allowed.
Return would be for a refund of the purchase price, not including shipping costs.
Just so that we are clear on that, this is an item that has not been thoroughly tested.
As such it may work fine or it may have problems, so any purchase entails a certain degree of risk.
If you Buy It Now your risk is limited to the shipping costs both ways.
If you submit an offer you do so knowing that you cannot return it.
In either case it is up to you to decide whether the risk level is acceptable to you, and if not you need to pass on this particular item.
I should also note that on the one that has a power cable attached someone has etched “28V” into the anodize, so I would guess that to be the required input voltage.
If you only buy one or two please specify which of the three you want.

    Check back often!
I have received the following input from another ebayer:
"One waveguide fitting is the receiver input, usually from the antenna, and the other waveguide fitting is for the local oscillator input (from a gunn diode oscillator or tiny klystron. Under the two little caps are mixer diodes and the difference between the two input frequencies is amplified and becomes the I.F. Output. Basically it is an X-Band radar or communications 'front end'.  I am unsure what the I.F. frequency actually is, generally it was 10, 30, or 60 Megahertz. Add this to your description."  I have no idea if any of that is accurate, but assuming he knows anything that means he knows more than I do by default.
Sold as is, as described, as pictured.
Potential buyers are asked to please make sure you have read the listing carefully, and understand what you are buying.
Ebay’s condition codes for used items, which I am now required to select from, might imply a degree of functionality that my limited time, knowledge, and facilities do not allow me to ascertain.
If the functional condition of the item is known it will be stated as such in the listing.
Unless a warranty is specifically offered returns are not accepted regardless of any implied functionality.
Payment is expected within 7 days of the close of the sale and I need to hear from you within 3 days to confirm the transaction.
